Southern Decadence September 3 to 7
The last big hurrah of the season over Labor Day weekend: parties, parades, and costumes in the French Quarter.

Crescent Park
River breeze and a skyline view, a twenty-minute walk from the villa; the path now connects all the way to the French Quarter. Part of the wharf closes at 7:30 PM, where the bridge takes over.

We love summer at CastleDay. It's when New Orleans is at its most authentic: the long days, the humidity, the classic afternoon thunderstorms.
Our summer guests spend the most time on the property, which is exactly how it was designed to be used. Spring has the energy; summer gives you the time to settle in. The pool, the outdoor showers, TV under the fans.
The city slows down too. If you're coming with a large group, summer is when you can get a reservation for 12 or more at the best restaurants without a hassle.

Weekends book fast, but midweek stays still have solid availability and better pricing. If your group has flexibility, Tuesday through Thursday is how you get the full experience without the full price.
