CastleDay was designed specifically for large groups seeking privacy and space. Every villa includes a heated pool and hot tub, basketball court, outdoor kitchen and covered pavilion, high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs, fully stocked chef’s kitchens (dual refrigerators and dishwashers), private parking for up to 5 cars, washer/dryer units, central A/C, premium linens, and Malin + Goetz toiletries. Yes. We have 24/7 on-site security - we're in the small building with the CastleDay logo. Guests can stop by for complimentary extra supplies (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) or immediate assistance in the event of a lockout.

Yes. We regularly host weddings, corporate retreats, milestone birthdays, and other group gatherings. Event fees or permits may apply depending on guest count and vendor setup. Please contact us for details before booking.

Absolutely! Castleday is perfect for wedding groups who want to stay under one roof. We can comfortably host your family and friends so everyone can celebrate and spend real time together. Many wedding groups have hosted welcome dinners and brunches for their guests—it’s a great way to extend the celebration all weekend long.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. 

Early check-ins and lake check-outs are subject to availability.  We’re happy to offer a complimentary early check-in at 12:30 p.m. and/or late check-outs at 1:30 p.m. when possible.  If you’d like to arrive even earlier or leave even later, we can arrange an 8:00 a.m. early check-in or 7:00 p.m. late check-out for an additional fee. Again, these options are subject to availability - we’ll reach out a few days before if it’s possible.

During peak weekends, we often book out six months or more in advance. We recommend reaching out at least nine months before your desired dates.

Yes. When you book directly on our website, you’re protected by our Lowest Rate Guarantee. If you find a lower qualifying rate within 24 hours of booking, we’ll match it.

Yes. We have a three-night minimum, though last-minute reservations may qualify for a two-night stay.

You’ll receive a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking if check-in is at least 30 days away. After that, you’ll receive a 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival. No refunds are issued within 14 days of check-in.

We strongly recommend it—especially for large-group or event bookings—to protect against unexpected cancellations or weather disruptions. You can purchase travel insurance during checkout.

We welcome well-behaved pets on a case-by-case basis with prior approval and a refundable pet deposit.

Yes. Each villa includes private gated parking for up to two vehicles, along with three additional spaces directly outside the villa. There’s also free on-street parking available nearby for any extra vehicles.

We want you to have fun but we also respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Large parties require advance approval.

Daily cleaning can be arranged in advance for an additional fee. Standard stays include professional cleaning before and after your visit.

Bywater is a creative, walkable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries. In addition to our 24/7 on-site security, we use exterior security cameras (no interior cameras) and 24/7 monitored entry for guest safety. 

Yes.   Private tours are available by appointment and are subject to availability - please email us to schedule a visit. (We can only show the space when it’s vacant!)
