For our upcoming guests

You're booked. Let's plan.

Whether you reserved with us directly or on a different website, this is home base from here to check-in: figure out who sleeps where, line up a crawfish boil or a brass band, and get the lay of the land before you pull up to the front door.

Before you arrive

Good to know

Where you're headed

1319 Japonica Street, in the Bywater: a ten-minute drive from the French Quarter, twenty-five from the airport. Bacchanal, Vaughan's, and BJ's are a walk from your front door.

Check-in

4 PM. Need in at 1? If the calendar allows, it's free; ask us the week of; earlier than that carries a fee that depends on the day, quoted straight. Reception (the small building with the CastleDay logo) buzzes you in, and it's staffed 24/7 for extra supplies or lockout help anytime.

Parking

Five cars per villa: two gated on the grounds, three across the street, plus unlimited free on-street parking nearby.

The pool & quiet hours

Every villa's heated pool and hot tub are all yours, around the clock; it's private, so there are no posted hours. No glass in the pool area. Quiet hours outside are 10 PM to 8 AM; inside, be as loud as you like.

The kitchen

A chef's kitchen made for gathering: 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 3 ovens, and a table for eighteen.

Privacy & security

Exterior cameras only, never indoors. And CastleDay is a licensed hotel that feels like a house: one license covers all three villas (Permit No. 24-XSTR-24029), so there's no short-term-rental gray area hanging over your trip.
