What CastleDay is.
Each CastleDay villa has a private heated pool, a hot tub, a courtyard, and a turf lawn, used by your group and nobody else. It has 12 bedrooms and 17 beds, listed room by room in the bed list on each villa page. The price is the nightly rate plus one cleaning fee, plus occupancy taxes, with no per-guest fees. CastleDay is licensed as a hotel (city permit 24-XSTR-24029). It is ten minutes by car from the French Quarter, on a quiet block in the Bywater.
Vendors you book come to the villa: hair and makeup, bartenders, decorators, massage therapists. A brass band, a crawfish boil, pool floats, and yoga can be booked through us. Frenchmen Street is eight minutes by car and the French Quarter is ten. At the end of the night everyone comes back to the same villa.
A private pool
Heated pool, hot tub, courtyard, and turf lawn, used only by your group. The pool is open around the clock.
17 beds in 12 bedrooms
Every bed is in the bed list by room on each villa page. Free queen air mattresses are available if you ask ahead of time.
The price up front
Pick dates and the calculator shows the live rate before you enter your name. There are no per-guest fees, so 18 people costs the same as 10.

- Hold a villa for 72 hours. Free, no card. The dates come off every channel under your name and the price is held. It ends on its own after 72 hours.
- Send the link to your group. The hold link carries the price and the dates. The bed list by room on the villa page shows who can sleep where.
- Decide together. Book the held villa at the held price, or let the hold expire on its own. There is nothing to cancel either way.
Our cancellation policy: cancel more than 60 days before check-in and the payment is fully refunded. At 60 days or fewer, payments are non-refundable. The full terms are at /terms.

The three villas share the same layout. The art is different. Each sleeps up to 30; two hold up to 60, and all three hold up to 90.

Common questions
We already booked somewhere else. Is it too late to look?
Usually not. Most Airbnb and Vrbo bookings refund in full until 30 or 60 days before check-in, and most hotel rates until a day or two before; your reservation page shows the exact date. Until then, the hold lets you compare for free: the dates are held under your name here for 72 hours while the group decides.
Does the 72-hour hold cost anything?
No. We ask for a name, an email, and a phone number. The villa comes off the market on every channel under your name for 72 hours, the price is held, and the hold expires on its own if you do not book. No card, nothing to cancel.
Is the held price the final price?
Yes. It is the nightly rate plus one cleaning fee, plus occupancy taxes, shown before you enter your name. There are no per-guest fees, so adding people adds nothing. If the live rate drops while you are holding, you pay the lower price.
