A Marigny Opera House wedding fills a deconsecrated 1853 church, and most of the guests are flying in. The usual plan spreads them across downtown hotel blocks, a ride from the venue and from each other. CastleDay is three private villas in the Bywater, each with 12 bedrooms and 17 beds, each with its own heated pool and hot tub. One villa holds the wedding party and immediate family. All three hold up to 90 guests on one quiet block. CastleDay is licensed as a hotel: inspected, legal, city permit 24-XSTR-24029.
The wedding morning starts at the villa. Hair and makeup come to you (every room has mirrors and natural light), the photographer gets the getting-ready shots in one place, and the pool is there until it is time to dress. The ride to St Ferdinand Street takes minutes.
Friday is the welcome party in the courtyard; larger gatherings need written approval from the team ahead of time. Saturday is the wedding, with everyone together by the pool before the ceremony. Sunday is airport runs. For the big dinner out, ask the team for restaurants that seat the whole group. A brass band books through us.
The price you see is the total for the whole stay, before taxes. We don’t charge per guest, so adding people doesn’t change it. The per-person share usually drops as the list grows.
