The bachelor party house.

A New Orleans bachelor party runs on three things: a pool nobody else is using, food coming off a grill, and a short ride to the night out. Every villa has all three, ten minutes from Bourbon Street.

Why CastleDay

What the best man has to answer.

Will we all fit?

Seventeen beds behind twelve doors, mapped room by room on the Bed Map on every villa page, so the room draft is settled before the flights land. Want extra beds? Ask ahead and free queen air mattresses will be waiting (the inflating is on you).

What will it cost each of us?

The nightly rate plus one cleaning fee, plus occupancy taxes. No per-guest fees, so the per-person share usually drops as the list grows. Pick your dates and the calculator shows the real price, split per person, before you've told us your name.

Can the party stay at the house?

Mostly, yes. Fenced grounds, staffed reception, and a licensed hotel that feels like a house: inspected, legal, city permit 24-XSTR-24029. One honest note: the block is residential, so outdoor quiet hours run 10pm to 8am; the living rooms and media lounge stay up as late as you do.

How it goes

The weekend, start to finish.

Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning: how crews actually run it.

Thursday
Afternoon

The landing

Flights land all afternoon and nobody waits at the airport for anybody: twenty-five minutes to the front door, bags down, rooms already claimed off the Bed Map. Check-in is 4pm; when the calendar allows, 1pm is free, just ask us the week of.

Evening

The grill lights first

Burgers off the grill, plates on the covered patio, the game on the outdoor TV, the pool lights on from the panel by the back door. Nobody has dressed up yet and nobody misses it.

Night

First night in

Somebody starts the hot tub and the group chat finally goes quiet. Keep it gentle; Saturday keeps score.

Friday
Day

The backyard is the itinerary

Laps and hoops in the morning, the grill going by noon, a cornhole bracket on the turf through the afternoon. XL TVs inside and out keep game day ten feet from the pool. Nobody moves the car.

Night

The big dinner, then Frenchmen

The big dinner first, off our big-table restaurant list: rooms that seat the whole crew without a fight. Then Frenchmen Street for the music, The Spotted Cat and d.b.a. steps apart. Bring small bills; the tip jar is the cover charge.

Saturday
Morning

The recovery lap

Coffee on the deck, a slow swim, the banana grove holding the shade. The ambitious ones book a morning swamp tour and are back before the boil.

Afternoon

The crawfish boil

The boil crew arrives with the burner and papers go straight down the table; it books through us. The bartender and the hibachi you book come straight to you.

Night

Bourbon's one good night

Fritzel's for the real jazz, the dueling pianos at Pat O'Brien's, one Hand Grenade apiece, and a candlelit last round at Lafitte's. The hot tub waits up.

Sunday
Morning

The slow victory lap

Beignets on the patio, one last float, the leftovers off the grill. Late checkout at 1pm is free when the calendar allows.

Rather walk? The Bywater keeps Bacchanal, Vaughan's and BJ's in walking distance.
