Occasions · The offsite

The boardroom opens onto a pool.

Sessions at a table that seats eighteen, breakouts under the pergola, the pool at five o'clock. One property, one invoice, ten minutes from the French Quarter.

Why CastleDay

What the offsite organizer has to answer.

Will the team actually fit?

Each villa holds a team of up to 30 in real beds across 12 bedrooms and 17 beds; the Bed Map on every villa page settles rooms before anyone flies. Two villas take 60; all three run a 90-person all-hands.

Will procurement sign off?

One property, one invoice, W-9 and certificate of insurance on request. A licensed hotel that feels like a house: inspected, legal, city permit 24-XSTR-24029. No per-guest fees, so a head count that moves doesn't reopen the contract.

What does it cost?

The price is public: pick your dates and the calculator shows the real number at live rates, split per person. Midweek and shoulder-season dates often beat a comparable downtown room block.

How it goes

Three days, one property.

How teams actually run it, landing to wrap.

Day one
Afternoon

The landing

Teams rarely land on the same flight: check-in flexes for scattered arrivals, and reception is staffed around the clock. Bags down, Wi-Fi on, agenda taped to the fridge.

Evening

The first dinner, at home

One table, eighteen seats, the pergola for the overflow. The hot tub handles the jet lag.

Day two
Morning

Session one, outside

Coffee urns on, laptops under the pergola, the agenda moving before the heat.

Midday

Lunch at the long table

The chef's kitchen takes catering trays (double refrigerators, sized for exactly this). Eighteen at the table, the rest under the pergola.

Afternoon

Breakouts, then the tournament

Living rooms break into working corners with fast Wi-Fi. Then basketball, cornhole, the pool hoop: an hour off the agenda.

Evening

The wind-down

Dinner, then the real conversations under the string lights. A crawfish boil or a brass band books straight through us.

Day three
Morning

The wrap

One last session at the table, airport runs in waves. Late checkout at 1pm is free when the calendar allows.

One invoice, one agreement, W-9 on request.

From the guest book

An album release, run from the living room.

July 2025: rapper E.T. Deaux launched Adult Swimming III with an invite-only listening party at The Cocodrie: a full album showing in the living room, golf theming end to end, friend vendors on the food and bar, and a recovery day built in.

"A living room big enough to show a full album is a better venue than most traditional event spaces."
