Occasions · The milestone

The big birthday, done properly.

Thirty, forty, fifty: bring everyone. A brass band by the pool, one long table, and beds for the whole crew.

Why CastleDay

The group chat's three questions, answered.

Will everyone fit?

Seventeen beds behind twelve doors, so the whole crew stays and nobody books a hotel. The Bed Map on every villa page shows each bed room by room; free queen air mattresses if you ask ahead.

What will it cost each of us?

The nightly rate plus one cleaning fee, plus occupancy taxes. No per-guest fees, so the guest list can grow with the toast list. Pick your dates and the calculator shows the real price, split per person.

Can the party come to us?

New Orleans makes house calls. The brass band and the crawfish boil book straight through us; the DJ, bartender and decorators you book come straight to you. Fenced grounds and staffed reception keep the party home.

How it goes

The birthday weekend, planned.

Friday night to Sunday morning: how the big one runs.

Friday
Evening

The arrival

Bags down, playlist on, the first cannonball before dinner lands. Check-in is 4pm; when the calendar allows, 1pm is free, just ask us the week of.

Saturday
Day

Pool in full swing

Floats out, the grill going, the daiquiri station open. The banana grove holds the shade.

Golden hour

The big dinner

The long table seats eighteen, the pergola seats the rest. The toast, the cake, the photos.

Night

The second line

The brass band turns the courtyard into a second line around the pool. The hot tub waits up.

Sunday
Morning

The slow victory lap

Beignets, one last float, everyone agreeing to do it again at the next zero. Late checkout at 1pm is free when the calendar allows.

Bigger blowout? A second villa is next door, and all three together hold up to 90.

From the guest book

Three birthdays, one villa.

April 2025: Liz, Karen, and Jesse hit milestone birthdays in the same stretch, so twenty friends took The Herald for the weekend. Every meal home-cooked, afternoons in the pool, and a party bus to the monster truck rally.

"When you've got 20 friends in one house, the house itself does most of the work."
